Well, hasn't this been a year? I personally thought it sucked and all those who had the same can join in on my pity party. I certainly hope that 2011 willl bring in a much better year because if it is like this next New Year's I might have to just kill myself.....just kidding. Hope all have a great New Year's Eve and a happy New year. Be safe and drink till your drunk and don't drive.

Key Lime Pie With a Kick

Today was a good day. I saw Janet today and told her about this great Martini, and all I could think about today was this drink.

1 oz. Vodka

1 oz. Ke Ke Key Lime Cream Liquor

1 oz. Pineapple Juice

As always, put all ingredients in shaker full of ice, shake hard and pour into a chilled martini glass. If you would like to make this a special way, I have rimmed the glass with lime juice and them coated it with graham cracker crumbs. I is so good and tastes just like a Key Lime Pie with a KICK.

TGIT "Thank Goodness It's Thursday"

Well today wasn't very exciting for me, had a short day so I came home for a martini, but couldn't decide which one to brew up. After a lot of thought I realized that I would like something on the sweet side, so I decided on a Chocolate Covered Cherry -

1 oz. Three Olives Cherry Vodka

1 oz. Three Olives Chocolate Vodka

1 oz. Dukeyper White Creme De Cocoa

Put all ingredients in Shaker with ice. Again, shake very hard and pour into chilled Martini Glass.

I will say that with the first scent of the drink you will be sent in time when you first opened that box of chocolate covered cherries and then the first sip is as a friend of mine claims "Orgasmic". Oh, what a sweet ending to a nice simple day. Cheers.

Martini Tuesday

Tuesdays are always diffcult for me. It is the first day of my work week and I always need something to get me through the rest of my week. So after my hard day at work I come home to a special martini that will get me through - - - -Espresso Martini
1 oz. Three Olives Triple Espresso Vodka
1 oz. Three Olives Chocolate Vodka
Pour into ice filled Martini Shaker. Shake very hard and pour into chilled Martini glass. If shaken correctly it should form what I call a skating rink on top. The correct way of making a Martini is difficult, but stick around and I'll give you more dirnks and information on how to make the "Perfect" Martinis.
